Hotel Schloss Montabaur, Montabaur

The hotel's location was exceptional, perched at the mountaintop with the best views, and my superior room was simply lovely. The service was friendly and accommodating, and the dining experience offered varied selections with a great hill view. However, the rooms were a bit noisy, sparsely furnished akin to a youth hostel, and the dining area felt more like a canteen than a restaurant.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although clean, were not up to par for the price and category of the hotel. However, the service provided was nice and caring, with friendly staff all around the place. The location, while beautiful with wonderful views, was somewhat uncomfortable and far from the city.
